Harold Varner III (born August 15, 1990) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on LIV Golf.
Early Life and Amateur Career: Varner was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He learned the game at Gastonia Country Club where he received considerable support.
Professional Career: He turned professional in 2012.
PGA Tour: Varner played on the PGA Tour where he had several notable finishes, including a runner-up finish at the RBC Heritage in 2021.
LIV Golf: In 2022, Varner joined LIV Golf, a controversial Saudi-backed golf league. His decision to join LIV Golf resulted in suspension from the PGA Tour. He won his first LIV Golf tournament in August 2022 at The International in Bolton, Massachusetts.
Achievements and Awards: He has one professional win on the European Tour, winning the PIF Saudi International in February 2022.
